Erlend's birth story from the point of view of his mum.
First surprise was that the indications of labour didn't
come in
the order specified by 'the book'. That is, the whole shebang started
with
my waters breaking first thing in the morning of 19 July. Given that
the
baby's head hadn't engaged at this point, I had to lie flat on my back
immediately and stay there. This meant of course that Trond had primary
responsibility for getting us organised....
